Select a common phrase and press (

).
The selected common phrase appears in the character entry screen.
• If you select a wrong common phrase, press
to delete the phrase and repeat from
Step 1.
• If entering the common phrase causes you to exceed the maximum allowable number of
characters, only the portion of the phrase is entered so that the limit is not exceeded.

Edit the common phrase as required.
To change “ ○○ ”, press to delete “ ○○ ” and reenter characters.

Press ( 確定 ).
The characters are fixed.

To enter a common phrase

Select “01. 定型文 ” and press ( 選択 ).
■ To enter a symbol

Select “02. 記号 ” and press ( 選択 ).

The symbols are displayed in the order of single-byte and double-byte
symbols. When only single-byte symbols can be entered, no double-byte
symbols are displayed. Only symbols that can be entered may be
displayed depending on the function.

Use to select a symbol and press ( 選択 ).
The symbol appears in the character entry screen.

If you select a wrong symbol, press to delete the symbol and repeat from Step 1.

Press ( 確定 ).
The character is fixed.

Press ( 戻る ) or to exit the special mode and return to the character entry screen.
