7-3. OPERATION OF THE SERVO KEY UNIT
A built-in servo key unit provides the
cost-effective and convenient editing
function without optional loader.
When the servo amplifier is in servo-off,
It is possible to enter the program mode
by the servo key unit.
Editing sequence is as follows.
Operation
Push the MODE key to change from "status display" to mode
selection level.
1. The pre-saved mode is displayed at LED.
Each modes are scrolled sequentially by UP/DOWN key.
2. Select the "PrO" mode and push the SET key.
3. The start number of program step is displayed.
Each step number is scrolled sequentially by UP/DOWN key.

Stop the display at the step number to be changed.
If you push the MODE key, the system returns to run ready state.
4. Push the SET key, then command is displayed.
The first letter "C" informs that next 3 figures are command.
The dots are displayed at the each LED.
5. Push the UP key, each command are displayed sequentially.
(G-code:9, M-code: , F-code:F) Π
If you select the command, then go to level 6 for command
value input
6. Select the figure of LED sequentially by DOWN key.
The value of selected figure (command value) is blinking.
7. Push the UP key, then the value of selected figure is increased
1 by 1 as the ring counter.
If the value changed, the dots are disappeared.
Repeat the operation of 6 and 7.
For the cancellation of edit, push the MODE key, then return to
the level 3.
Push the SET key, then command is temporary saved.
If command is normal and data value is needed, go to level 8.
If command is normal & data value is not needed, go to level 3.
If command is abnormal, then go to level 5 for re-input.
8. The upper 3 figures of data value (above 1000) are displayed.
The first letter ("P" or "-") shows the sign of data value.
"P" means plus value and "-" means minus value.
The next 3 figures show the upper 3 digits of value (above1000).
If push the UP key, sign is rotated between "P" and "-".
9. Select the figure of LED sequentially by DOWN key.
The value of selected figure (data value) is blinking.
10. Push the UP key, then the value of selected figure is
increased 1 by 1 as the ring counter.
If the value changed, the dots are disappeared.
Repeat the operation of 9 and 10.
For the cancellation of edit, push the MODE key, then return to
the level 3.
Push SET key, lower 3 digits of value (below1000) are displayed.
The first letter "L" means that the next 3 figures show the lower 3
digits of data value (below1000).
11. Select the figure of LED sequentially by DOWN key.
The value of selected figure (data value) is blinking.
12. Push the UP key, then the value of selected figure is
increased 1 by 1 as the ring counter.
If the value changed, the dots are disappeared.
Repeat the operation of 11 and 12.
Push the MODE key then return to the level 3.
13. Push the SET key to save the setting values.
If the setting values are in allowed ranges, they are saved and
return to level 3 with auto-increment of step number.
If the setting values are out of ranges, they are not saved and
go to level 8 for re-input.
