NOTE:
As shown in the left figure below, open the AC cable clamp, fit the power cord into it, and
lightly lock the clamp.
If the shape of the power cord stopper of the power
supply is different from the figure above, connect the power
cord according to the procedure below.
As shown in the right figure below, move the clamp in the direction indicated by the arrow,
and firmly secure the clamp near the root of the plug.
NOTE:
15. Turn ON the power switch on the new power supply.
If the clamp is loosely locked, the power cord may
come off. To prevent this problem, firmly secure the AC cable
clamp near the root of the power cord.

Using the "WebSAM NEC Storage Manager", confirm the status of the battery backup unit
containing the added optional battery. Make sure that the battery backup unit is fully charged
and is in Ready state.
17. When you finish the confirmation, take steps 1 to 16 for adding an optional battery to the
other power supply.
18. Using the "WebSAM NEC Storage Manager", confirm the status of the battery backup unit
containing the added optional battery. Make sure that the battery backup unit is fully charged
and is in Ready state.
