connection tips
specifications
Use your favorite headphones with
or without the taction speakers
enabled. Accepts all 1/8" stereo
headphone jacks.
Accepts any standard 1/8" stereo
input. CD player, DVD player, MP3
player, Surround Sound rear channel,
video game, headphone or any other
sound source.
1.
Thread cables
Fold touchSONIC pad forward and
locate the audio/power cables
located near the fold. Insert the
power and hand-held remote con-
nectors through hole in the bottom
of the seat suspension fabric.
2. Connections
Connect the power supply and the
remote control cables to correspond-
ing connectors. Route cables as
shown to ensure that they do not
become entangled in moving parts.
Plug the power supply into a stan-
dard 120VAC wall outlet.
3. Store Controller/Connect Audio
Place the remote in the holster for
convenience.
Connect the audio source of your
choosing into the 1/8” stereo input
jack (Stereo, CD, MP3 Player or
video game).
Connect the touchSONIC pad to any of the following outputs
on your sound source:
1. Line out
This can be done by using an unused line out from your
stereo or device or by splitting the left and right signals in
order to provide line output to multiple devices.
2. Headphone
Connect a patch cable between the input jack on the
touchSONIC pad and a standard headphone output on your
sound source.
3. Speaker output
This can be done directly as a split signal, as a parallel
signal bridge from the speaker, or directly from the speaker
output. For rear channel output, option 2 or 3 are suggested.
See the enclosed Speaker Connection card and your audio
source use and care manual for more information.
