5. For connection of CONT0 (right controller board), enter 10.1.0.10 in the address field
after browser is started. Enter 10.1.0.10 for connection of CONT1.
6. After the start, select Option at the lower left corner of the screen and enter "C" with
uppercase letters on the Password Input screen.
7. After the input, press the SET button. Then update the screen by using the Update
feature of the browser. All the features on the left side of the screen become
available.
Notes:
1. Because the IP address and subnet mask of the MNT’s Ether port are fixed as
described above, do not connect the port to any LAN and WAN.
2. The amber LED to the right of the Ether port is lit. However, this does not indicate the
occurrence of an error. It is lit in the TCP connection state.
3. Action taken when the Maintenance PC is not connectable:
Check if:
–
The IP address of the PC connected is correctly set.
–
"proxy" is disabled in the setting of Internet Explorer.
If you still fail in connection while the above check results are correct, contact your
NEC maintenance service representative.
