Memory Configuration
The following screen appears if you select [Memory Configuration] on the Advanced menu.
Available options in this menu are listed below.

Indicates the capacity of installed
memory. (View only)
Available under
4GB xxxxxxx MB Indicates the capacity of memory
available for the 32-bit OS.
DIMMn Status
(n:1 - 4) Normal
Disabled
Not Installed
Error Indicates the current memory status.
"Normal" indicates the normal status,
"Disabled" indicates a memory error, "Not
installed" indicates no DIMM is installed,
and "Error" indicates the system is forcibly
started with memory error.
Memory Retest [No]
Yes Clears the DIMM error status information,
and tests memory at the next boot.
Automatically reset to "No" at the next
boot.

Every Location
[Disabled] Specify the unit to test the memory.
The memory test is performed even when
"Disabled" is specified. Choose the
desired value to test for larger or smaller
block unit.
[ ]: Factory-set
IMPORTANT: The value shown in [Installed memory] may be smaller
than the actual physical memory capacity, depending on the
configuration of PCI board or others. The same value is also shown in
memory count during POST, BIOS SETUP Utility, and System
Information of OS.
