Open the levers at both ends of the DIMM connector into which you are going to install
the DIMM.

Hold the DIMM perpendicularly, and push it into the socket as far as it will go.
The levers automatically close when the DIMM is inserted into the DIMM connector.
NOTE:
Make sure of the orientation of the DIMM. The terminal side
of the DIMM is notched for preventing incorrect insertion.
IMPORTANT: Insert the DIMM straight and carefully. Applying too
much pressure can damage the DIMM or connector.

Close the lever securely.
9.
Repeat Steps 6 through 8 to install a DIMM making a pair to the other DIMM connector.
10.
Install the device bays #1 and #2 you have removed in Step 3.
Secure the device bays with the three fixing screws, then connect the power cables and
interface cables for the optical disk drive and hard disk drive.
NOTE:
Route the power and interface cables so that they do not
contact with the fan of the CPU heat sink. If the cable comes in contact
with the fan, it may be damaged.
11.
Install the PCI board in the PCI board slot #1. See "PCI Board" described earlier.
12.
Assemble the workstation.
After installed the base cover, connect the cables to the workstation appropriately.
13.
Turn on the power of the workstation. Make sure that no error message appears on the
POST screen.
