Precautions
Observe the following instructions when using the workstation. The workstation itself or your
property (data and other devices) might be destroyed if you use the workstation disregarding these
instructions.
Available Disk
The separately priced disks for optical disk drive are available as shown below.

Before Writing into Disk
It is prohibited by the law to reproduce audio CD and the application without the permission of the
writer except for the personal use.
The data stored in DVD-R, DVD+R, or CD-R may be destroyed partially or entirely due to write
error. To prevent the data loss, observe the following instructions.

Terminate the program including an application software that might consume a large
amount of memory.

Disable the screen saver utility.
„
Terminate the program to check the disk such as virus checker or system agency.
„
Disable the utility that might start during writing, such as scheduler or timer.
„
Disable the power-saving feature in power management.
„
Do not boot any application while writing.
