(4) Important Notice regarding on the use of Windows Vista and 7 later
When a user uses the ActiveX console on the Windows Vista and 7 later operating system, the
user must run the Internet Explorer as the Administrator.
Instructions
a. Close the Internet Explorer.
b. Click the “Start” button, and choose the “All Programs”.
c. Scroll the list of programs and search for the Internet Explorer.
d. Right click the Internet Explorer icon and choose the “Run As Administrator”.
e. Click “Continue” in the User Account Control window to grant the administrator access to
the Internet Explorer.
The status bar of the Internet Explorer shows “Protected Mode: Off” after the Internet Explorer
runs as the Administrator.
