15.3 Emergency Stop Device.
The Emergency Stop Device is operated using the lever.
Before resetting the Emergency Stop Device, the voltage level of the DC Current Generators must be checked. If the
voltage no longer matches the system battery voltage, reconnecting the Emergency Stop Device may cause arcing
and damage to the contacts.
To check the voltage, remove the DC Current Generators.
On the rear panel, measure the voltage between the Power Junction Connectors:
Fig 56:
DC Current Generator rear panel.
The voltage should fall within 13.0 VDC - 15.7 VDC.
Compare the voltage to the voltage supplied by the energy compartment (Power Connectors) with the
Emergency Stop Device back in the working position:
CAUTION : If the voltages do not match, charge the DC Current Generators using the charging tool.
If the Emergency Stop lever cannot be switched on/off smoothly any longer, or a deterioration of the injections is
perceived, the Emergency Stop may be damaged.
CAUTION : If the Emergency Stop Device has suffered damage, please contact Megger technical assistance
before performing any further Current Injections.
