8.7 Assembly of the BALTO Compact 4000 on site
1. Insert the Main Unit into the proper position of the transport unit (flat surface with wheels).
2. The BALTO Compact 4000 can be grounded using the grounding terminal, which is located on the Main Unit.
Use the grounding cable included as a system accessory, or a properly rated equivalent cable.
3. Connect the BALTO Compact 4000 to the mains power. Ensure that the mains voltage matches the mains voltage
displayed on the Support Carriage.
4. Switch on the main switch (red) on the Main Unit, this will charge the battery compartment. The I/O button on
the Control Unit will be lit.
5. Before installing the DC Current Generator, make sure it is charged. Then insert the Current Generator in its
position.
6. Connect the Power Flex-cables to the Current Generator as described above.
7. Connect the Power Flex-cables to the DC High Speed Circuit Breaker. Make sure the circuit breaker is in the
“Open” position.
8. Press the I/O button on the Main Unit, the BALTO Compact 4000 will start booting.
