4.6.1 Channel Selection
To begin input setup press the
Input Setup
key. If a scanner is installed, the first input setup screen appears as a prompt
for the channel number. All of the parameter changes that follow will act on the selected channel. If no scanner is
installed, the sequence will begin below with change pause.

key to select a channel number between 1 and 16. Choose the selection “All” and the changes will be
applied to all channels at the same time. Press
Enter
to accept the new selection and continue to the next setting screen.

Escape
to cancel the new selection and return to the normal display.
4.6.2 Scanner Dwell Time
The scanner dwell time parameter allows the user to select how long the measurement will dwell on any channel when
the Autoscan feature is on. Each channel can have a different dwell time from 1 to 200 seconds. Scan dwell time begins
after both the change pause time and firmware filter is settled. Dwell time will be interrupted if temperature control and
Autoscan are active at the same time.
The next input setup screen appears as a prompt for the scanner dwell time.

to restart the setting sequence and enter a new value. Press

again to cancel the sequence and return to the normal display.
4.6.3 Change Pause Time
The input change pause parameter allows the user to select how long the instrument waits after a resistance range or
channel change before it begins using readings for autorange, Max/Min, alarm, analog output and temperature control
functions. The default of 3 seconds is recommended for typical applications but the pause time should be increased for
large resistances or very low excitations.
The next input setup screen appears as a prompt for the change pause time.
