ALARM
Alarm Parameter Command
Input:
ALARM <channel>, <off/on>, <source>, <high value>, <low value>,
<deadband>, <latch>[term]

<channel>
Specifies which channel to configure: 1–16, 0 = all channels.
<off/on>
Specifies alarm checking on or off: 0 = Off, 1 = On.
<data source>
Specifies channel data to check: 1 = Kelvin, 2 = Ohms, 3 = Linear Data.
<high value>
Sets the value the source is checked against to activate the high alarm.
<low value>
Sets the value the source is checked against to activate low alarm.
<deadband>
Sets the value that the source must change outside of an alarm condition to
deactivate an unlatched alarm.
<latch>
Specifies a latched alarm (remains active after alarm condition correction):
0 = Non-Latching, 1 = Latching.
Remarks:
Configures the alarm parameters for a channel.
Examples: ALARM
1,0[term]
–
Turns off alarm checking for Channel 1. All other parameters are set to zero.
ALARM 5,1,1,270.0,0,0,1[term] –
Turns channel 5 alarm checking on with the data source set to
Kelvin. Activates high alarm if the reading is over 270, activates low alarm if reading is below 0, and
latches the alarm when Kelvin reading falls below 270.

<analog channel> Specifies analog output channel: 1-2.
<polarity>
Specifies analog output polarity: 0 = unipolar, 1 = bipolar.
<mode>
Specifies data the analog output monitors: 0 = off, 1 = channel, 2 = manual,
3 = zone. Analog 2 also has mode 4 = still.
<channel>
Specifies which channel to monitor if <mode> = 1: 1-16.
<source>
Specifies channel data: 1 = Kelvin, 2 = Ohms, 3 = Linear Data.
