The next filter setup screen appears as a prompt for filter On/Off.

Settling time is the most important filter setting. Filter settling time can be set from 1 to 200 seconds. The table below 
shows how settling time is related to number of readings averaged and nominal noise attenuation. Filter settling time 
begins after the pause time finishes on range or channel change. Because the Model 370 uses a linear average the 
measurement bandwidth is not a simple function of frequency.

Filter window is an extra feature of the filter algorithm. If a single reading is different from the filtered value by more 
than the window limit, the algorithm will assume the change was intentional and restart the filter. The filter window is 
set in percent of full scale resistance range.
