Before first use

50

Tractor provisions

Working with the machine requires a tractor that at least meets the
following requirements.

•

Sufficient carrying and lifting capacity and engine power.



see paragraph »Technical specifications« on page 36,

•

Correct type of properly adjustable power lift,

•

ISOBUS communication system and ISOBUS plug attachment or,

•

assembled ISO control terminal to operate the spreader.

•

GPS for GEOCONTROL functionality.

Power lift

The tractor must be equipped with a Cat. II three-point power lift.
Easy control of top link and lower link adjustment is important. This
system is used for several machine settings.

The tractor must be equipped with stabilizer rods or chains for:

•

preventing lateral machine movements and

•

being able to select the correct position of the machine relative to the
tractor.

Electrical installation

Lighting

A seven pin connector is required for the lights.

SAE J560 plug

Observe the local regulations concerning lights and markings for road
transport. Contact your dealer if lighting does not work as stated.

Hydraulic system of the

tractor

The tractor must have a double acting valve to operate the machine
without accessories. This number can increase, depending on the
accessories selected.

If the implement, in the transport position, obscures the effective
illumination of any flashing, extremity, tail or stop lamp on the
tractor, the implement must be fitted with lighting appropriate to
take the place of the lamp(s) obscured. See your authorized
dealer for an appropriate lighting kit.
