OTC Flexible - Personal PIN
Via special card reader, persons registered with their
personnel number
can enter
their
personal PINs
with the system set to
CIT mode
value 1 (mixed) or 2 (CIT).
With systems set like that, persons with personal PIN in MultiPad Go! can open locks
by entering flexible OTC (single-use code), which is generated via MultiPad Go! as
well.
When the lock closes after having been opened via OTC, a 4-digit reply code
CIT code: XXXX
is displayed upon the operating unit with the system and the
bolt work closed. This code can be passed on via telephone, for example, and it can
be used by the person in charge to end the process. With the system / bolt work
open, four asterisks (****) are displayed instead of the code.
The reply code issued most recently can also be displayed via menu
Status/Info
.
With this variant, neither users nor codes have to be stored at locks.
Also see manual TwinNet.
4.4.3
QR Codes (with locksAppCIT only)
With QPad, flexible OTC (single-use codes) can be generated as QR codes. These QR
codes can be read via the optional app ‘locksAppCIT’ by INSYS locks. Via command
“Request code”, the codes can be displayed as single
-use codes (with digits) again.
With the help of the app, a return code can be generated that can be displayed upon
the QPad.
