Maintenance, Repair and Cleaning
The system is maintenance-free. Ex works, it has passed a performance test of
100.000 open - / close procedures.
Observe the bolt work maintenance interval recommended by the manufacturer of
the bolt work.
Repair tasks are to be performed solely by skilled electricians (see definition on
page 12) trained and authorised by INSYS NICROELECTRONICS or partner
companies.
Caution
Danger of short circuit of the electronic components.
Danger of damage to the system.
Note the instructions on how to clean the system.
Clean the operating unit with very little, possibly mildly soapy water. Use a soaked,
soft, clean and lint-free cloth. Do not use other means of cleaning equipment. For
disinfection, only use disinfecting agents with a product description that states that
the agents are compatible with plastic polyethylene (PE), ABS and PC-ABS
(disinfection by wiping, afterwards wipe keypad surface with cloth moistened with
drinking water).
Clean all other components of your lock system only if necessary. Use nothing but
a dry, soft, clean and lint-free cloth. Wipe the surfaces exerting as little pressure as
possible.
