4.13.1
Displaying the Hidden Menu
Certain basic settings can be made or verified via the hidden menu.
Every user can display the hidden menu. The system manager code is
required for certain settings (language import, setting the time,
configuring the alarm devices and the network). Single-use code (OTC)
is required for registering new users via this menu. Also see Alarm
Devices: XT Extension / TwinAlarm on page 59.

Press
Clear
and release the key immediately.
Date and time are on display, as it may be.

Press key
Enter
and keep the key depressed.
Language
is on display.

Confirm
Language
by pressing
Enter
and with key

select another
Submenu
and press
Enter
.
Selecting the language, settings ‘Lighting’ and ‘Loudspeaker’ and the ‘Battery
voltage’ display are available without the system manager code
.

In order to configure other settings, enter the system manager code and set
the parameter according to your wishes.
Menu item „Terminal“ concerns operation unit settings:
„Loudspeaker“ = emission of acoustic signals on / off
„
Light
ing“ = L
ighting of display on / off [Attention: might impair readability].
„Contrast“ = Contrast graphic characters against display background.
Change or confirm each setting in order to have the next setting displayed.
You have successfully displayed the hidden menu.

Showing Status / Info about Components

Clear
and release it after a second.
Date and time are on display.

With the menu key

.
The display shows:
- System check, and, as the case may be, the VdS class of the system
- State of lock and system
- State of an optional burglar alarm system (BAS armed / unarmed)
- Software- and engine-version of the operating unit / RFID module (optional)
as well as the
- software version of the lock, and of unit TwinIP, as the case may be, and the
- basic firmware of the lock system.
