Step 7: Save job
If the detection is correct and the job is finished, the created job can be saved. Saving the job can be done by
clicking on the save symbol.
Step 8: Set camera online
If the detection is correct and the job is finished, the camera can be set back online. This can be done by
pressing the "Online" symbol. The symbol should be activated after pressing it, indicating that the sensor
is online.
13.3. Parameter overview
The table below shows a list of the camera job parameters that can be adjusted.
Parameter
Cell
Value range Default Description
Expected samples
R0
1-30
30
Number of samples that are placed in a
full box.
Acceptance %
R1
0-100%
50
Minimum percentage of samples that need
to be detected in order to process the box.
Belt offset
H3
/
0
Belt offset in mm. The belt offset is added
to the belt positions. This parameter can be
adjusted if all X positions for piercing are off.
Needle offset
H4
/
0
Needle offset in mm. The needle offset is
subtracted from the needle positions. This
parameter can be adjusted if all Y positions
for piercing are off.
X positions (belt)
C77-C106
>0
/
Pierce positions in X direction (belt),
see Chapter 12.10
Y positions (needles)
D77-D106
>0
/
Pierce positions in Y direction (needles),
see Chapter 12.10
Exposure
A0
>0
30
Exposure time of the camera in ms. High-
er exposure creates a lighter image, lower
exposure creates a darker image
Feature threshold
(sample pattern)
J1
>0
20
Threshold of the sample pattern,
see Chapter 13 Step 10.4
Accept threshold
(sample patterns)
A9
65-100
70
Acceptance threshold for pattern detection.
Must be higher than 65 to prevent false
detections. Using a too high value might
cause some samples to not be detected.
Feature threshold
(dummy pattern)
N1
>0
20
Threshold of the dummy pattern,
see Chapter 13 Step 10.4
Accept threshold
(dummy patterns)
A43
75-100
80
Acceptance threshold for dummy
detection. Must be higher than 75 to prevent
false detections. Using a too high value might
cause some samples not being detected.
