9.8. Conveyor belt
The conveyor belt is used to move the products in order to sample them. Please follow the instruction below
to maintain this part of the Autosampler III.
9.8.1. Belt
We recommend that you keep your belts' adhesive qualities intact by cleaning the belt when necessary. A
clean belt is necessary for proper friction. The belt's longevity may be increased by making sure the bottom of
the boxes do not contain dust or sand collected from being on the floor.
Cleaning agents that may be used are:
General
•
Soap and water
•
Borax
•
Household cleaners: Many are useful, check formulation
and perform a spot test.
Spot cleaning
•
Ethanol
Please note: Combinations of agents may cause unpredictable
damage. Do not use chlorine-based products.
9.8.2. Scraper
The conveyor belt is equipped with a scraper to capture fluid spills that may form when piercing products.
To access the scraper, the service panel needs to be removed using a size T30 safety Torx.
10. HMI / Xperimate operations panel
This chapter will explain the visual parts of the HMI
Autosampler III. The HMI is part of the Xperimate
platform developed by Synchron. The HMI is an
enclosed user interface that will not have access to
all the functionalities of Xperimate.
The main difference is that Xperimate can be used
to build program flows. This is not available in the
HMI. However, the HMI has been optimized to make
operating the Autosampler III clear and concise.
The picture to the right shows the complete HMI
overview. Individual parts will be explained in their
corresponding chapters.
