4. Assembly and installation
This chapter explains how the assembly and installation should be carried out. Please refer to this chapter
when the Autosampler III has been moved.
The assembly and installation of the Autosampler III is carried out by personnel of Hygiena Partners or by
an external body that has been authorized to do so by Hygiena. The final check is carried out by Hygiena
Partners. The assembly and installation is carried out by qualified and experienced technicians. This chapter
is written for the technicians who assemble, install and test the Autosampler III. The user of the Autosampler
III can use this chapter as an information tool to verify that the installation was done properly.
The following conditions must be met before both assembly and installation:
•
Assembly and installation of the Autosampler III should only be carried out by qualified,
skilled personnel.
•
Only correct, undamaged and sturdy tools should be used.
4.1. Installation
Before installing the Autosampler III, clearly identify where it should be installed and how the system should
get to its destination. The Autosampler III must be placed in a clean and dust-free location. Before the
Autosampler III can be installed, all packaging material must be removed from the Autosampler III with care.
Some tools maybe required to install the Autosampler III, see tool overview in Chapter 18. Before unpacking
and installing, it is recommended to take a photo of the Autosampler III. After unpacking, a photo must also
be taken. The photos are archived and taken by both the sending and receiving party. This is done to ensure
the proper state upon receipt. In order to install the product, the following power sources must be provided:

Voltage according to connection value
•
Air pressure according to connection value
4.2. Commissioning
This chapter describes the steps to follow, before using the Autosampler III.
•
Before starting the Autosampler III, check that all removed parts are properly mounted and secured.
It is also necessary to check that there are no loose parts, such as tools and cleaning cloths, in the
Autosampler III.
•
There should be no personnel inside the Autosampler III when it is switched on.
•
Only correct products must be used according to the specifications. If a different product needs to be
processed, consult your supplier.
•
Do not access a running Autosampler III with (cleaning) tools.
•
While operating the Autosampler III, pay attention to unusual noises and take appropriate action
if necessary.
•
Before commissioning the Autosampler III, all defects must be corrected.
