Step 2: Load plates
Wait until the following message is displayed:
Load the plates in the input destacker, the plates can be placed on top of the destacker lift. Make sure the
plate barcodes are facing to the right (when standing in front of the Autosampler III). Make sure that plates are
properly stacked so that no plate is at an angle. (the destacker uses the skirt of the plate for destacking;
therefore, the plates must align to expose the skirt to the destacker mechanism. Once the plates are in the
destacker, please put the cover plate (see picture) on top of the stack. This cover plate covers the top plate,
provides some weight to the last plates when destacking and closes the destacker when no more plates are
available (the top plate is prevented from going down into the destacker).

Step 3: Lower the destacker lift
After loading the plates, press "Ok" to resume the loading of the plates.
The destacker lift will lower and the plates are loaded. Please check if the plates are lowered correctly into the
destacker. The plates should not be a at an angle and no gaps should appear between the plates.
