IGNITION SWITCH

Remove the left side cover (page 2-3).

Remove the fuel tank (page 2-3).

Disconnect the ignition pulse generator wire connector
(page 10-16).

Connect the positive terminal first and then the negative

terminal.

Connect the battery to the ignition pulse generator wire
connector and body ground.

CONNECTION:

Blue/Yellow wire terminal (+)

Body ground (-)

Connect the

positive terminal

first and then

the negative

terminal.

Turn the ignition switch “ON”, the tachometer should
indicate the 1,000 r/min.

Complete each

step within 8

seconds.

Turn the throttle grip to the fully opened position, the
tachometer should indicate the 2,000 r/min.

Complete each

step within 8

seconds.

Turn the throttle grip to the fully closed position, the
tachometer should indicate the 3,000 r/min.

Complete each

step within 8

seconds.
