CYLINDER HEAD/VALVES

AIR SUPPLY HOSE

BOLTS

Install the camshaft retainer bolt and tighten it securely.

Install the cam sprocket to the cam shaft.

Install the following:

– Tensioner lifter plug and O-ring

– Cylinder head cover (page 7-5)

– Choke cable stay (page 10-3)

– Spark plug (page 3-8)

Install the head cover cylinder L–side by installing the
bolts (3 nos.).

BOLTS/RUBBER SEALS

Install the cam chain on cam sprocket.

Install the cam sprocket on the camshaft flange.

Install the cam sprocket mounting bolts (2 nos.) to the

specified torque.

TORQUE : 9 N.m (0.9 kgf.m, 6.6 Ibf.ft)
