ALTERNATOR

Install the insulator plates.

Install the brush holder, washer and tighten the screws

with brush wire.
Install the springs into the brush holder.

Install the shims onto the armature shaft.

Install the shims properly as noted during removal.
Apply a thin coat of grease to the armature shaft end.
Install the brushes into the brush holder.
Spread the brushes.
Install the armature into the rear cover assembly.
Install a new seal ring to the motor case.
