Section 3 Operation

eCDi ™

The Meters button provides access to all metering in that tab. An example is given in
Figure 3-17. Note the Page 1 and Page 2 buttons which are required since all of the
readings do not fit on one page. For multiple cabinet systems, Cabinet select buttons
will be available for monitoring of all cabinets.

Lastly, a Control button when available will provide a way to switch or change
something in this specific system, which in this case is the Drive Chain. An example is
shown in Figure 3-18. In this case it provides a way to switch exciters and to change the
drive switch from Auto to Manual.

NOTE:

Many of the controls in the eCDi™ (such as the ones just discussed) will only be
available where appropriate. If it is not needed it will not be present. However,
when present, they will always show up in the same position. This also does not
rule out unique buttons for a given transmitter.
