F.1

Introduction

For thePlatinum Z FM or Z IBOC transmitter, all data in the transmitter is either
displayed via the LCD display, lights an LED or is sent to the parallel remote control
ports. Some of the fault reporting is done in the form of highlighting a button red, such
as most summary faults. However, when the data is sent out a serial port to a device
such as the eCDi™ the only way to represent a fault is through a name. The same issue
applies to Metering data. Therefore, this section is divided into 2 parts:

Fault Log Reference

•

Metering Log Reference

The Fault Log Reference is a group of tables that list all of the faults that can be
reported and logged on the eCDi™ for a Platinum Z Series transmitter. Due to the
length of the lists, the faults are divided into the following 5 tables:

•
