Compensation – Future Tests
For compensated data sets, the level of compensation is always (all views, including
histograms) displayed on the fluorescent axis label in red text. An example is shown in the
image below/right for a fluorescence vs. fluorescence scatter plot view. The last, saved
compensation levels for any particular assay type (e.g. Open Flow Cytometry/GO Flow, Cell
Health, GFP Check, etc.) are also stored by the system. The user can then automatically apply
these values (without have to manually re-adjust the compensation) to future tests by toggling
the “Compensation Values” option on the test configuration screen from “None” to “Use prior
test values.” (example is shown in the image below/right for the Open Flow Cytometry assay)
