Shutdown checklist

□

Compressor: Off

Shut down the compressor according to the manufacturer's recommended procedures.
Allow air pressure to bleed down before proceeding.

□

Compressor Air Valves: Closed

Close both air valves supplying the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit on the compressor.

□

Flex Ducting: Disconnect

Once the hose pressure has bled down, disconnect the flexible ducting from the tank and
from the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

CAUTION

: The air hose connections may be hot. Wear protective gloves when disconnecting

the hoses to prevent burning your fingers or hands.

□

Air Hoses: Disconnected

1. Confirm air pressure in the hoses is bled down.

2. Disconnect the air hoses from the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

3. Disconnect the air hoses from the compressor.

□

Unit Air Valves: Closed

Close both air valves on the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

□

TankSafe™ product supply container: Disconnect

1. Disconnect the TankSafe™ supply tube from the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

NOTE

: To avoid spillage, do not disconnect the supply tube from the unit if compressed air

is still being supplied. Be sure that either compressor valves are closed, or compressor is
shut down prior to disconnecting supply line from the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

2. Remove supply tube from supply tank.

3. Replace supply container cap that has a center hole with the solid storage cap. Stow the
cap with the tube hole in a safe place for future use.

4. Reconnect supply tube to the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

5. Record the amount of TankSafe™ product used.

Earth (Ground) Wire: Disconnect

1. Remove the earth (ground) wire from fuel tank (or earth rod, as applicable).

2. Coil the earth (ground) wire and place back inside the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery
Unit. Inspect the wire for damage prior to placing back inside the unit, repair as necessary.
