TankSafe™ product

The TankSafe™ product is used to reduce the formation of new vapors from residual fuel in
underground storage tanks during and after degassing. NanoVapor™ equipment has been
specifically designed for the application of the NanoVapor™ TankSafe™ product to achieve this
action. Once applied, the TankSafe™ product will remain on all surfaces as a molecular layer
suppressing vapours. Should this layer become scratched then it will simply ‘heal’ itself and
continue to suppress vapors. If you wash the tank, and remove all waste products, the TankSafe™
product barrier will be washed away. If a gas free environment is required after washing then
simply reapply the TankSafe™ product.

NOTE

: Multiple applications of TankSafe™ may be required to keep the LEL at the desired level for

extended periods of time.

WARNING

: The TankSafe™ product is provided ready-to-use (RTU) and should not be altered

in any way prior to use. Altering it can create UNSAFE tank conditions.

TankSafe™ product SDS

The TankSafe™ product is the trade name of the NanoVapor™ proprietary formulation. It is often
referred to in this manual as “vapor suppressant.” Review the TankSafe™ product Safety Data
Sheet prior to use.

IMPORTANT

: A COSHH Risk Assessment must be compiled by a competent person prior to the

use of the TankSafe™ product.

Storing the TankSafe™ product

IMPORTANT

: Do not allow the TankSafe™ product to freeze.

Store the TankSafe™ product in a climate-controlled room. Always keep product above 0°C (32°F)
to prevent freezing. If freezing occurs, thaw at room temperature and mix prior to use.
