NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit

The NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit is the application hardware for degassing tanks with the
TankSafe™ product.

• Specifications:

•  Description: Two-man portable box
•  Dimensions: 356 x 825 x 1130 mm (14 x 34.5 x 44.5 in)
•  Weight: 45 kg (100 lbs)

Dual compressed air connections

These connections are used to supply compressed air to the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit
from a twin-tool air compressor. Two claw connections are used to maximize the compressed air
flow to the unit using two 19mm (¾ inch) air hoses.

•  Location: These connections are located on the inlet side of the unit.
•  Specifications: User specified to mate with existing air hoses.
•  Operation: Follow standard connection procedures for the specific compressor model being

used. Generally, this will be a twist-lock with either a safety pin or whip protector that can
be fastened.

• Maintenance: Be sure the rubber gasket is intact and fully seated to prevent air leaks.

Replace if gasket is missing or degraded in quality.

Air filters

The filters prevent oil and moisture in the compressed air from clogging the NV-ST-1000
TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

• Location: The filters are located inside the unit near the bottom on the inlet side. They can

be accessed through the door provided.

• Specifications:

•  Air Filter Bowl part number: NV-020a
•  Filter Bowl O-Ring part number: NV-020b
•  Filters (1 set of 2) part number: NV-020c

• Operation: Check the filter bowl every 15 minutes during operation to ensure the auto-

drain is working and the filter is not over-filling with water.

• Maintenance: Replace the filter element at least every six months (or sooner if required).

Replace the auto-drain and other filter parts as needed to ensure reliable operation.
