1. Make sure the air compressor is located outside the hazardous area, is turned off, and the

compressor valves are closed.

2. Make sure all rubber seals at the connection point on the air hoses, air compressor, and

NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit are intact and in good condition. If any are not, replace
them.

3. Connect two standard 19 mm (¾ in) compressed air hoses from a twin-tool air compressor

(or equivalent) to the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

CAUTION

: Use whipcheck wires to prevent injury if a hose detaches during operation.

Whip Check Wires

4. Secure the claw connections with safety pins if there is a facility to do so on the air claws.

5. Make sure both air valves on the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit are closed.

6. Place the TankSafe™ product supply container on the ground by the inlet of the NV-ST-1000

TankSafe™ Delivery Unit. Remove the storage cap from the supply container. Replace it with
the supplied cap that has a center hole. Retain the cap for future use.

7. Insert the pickup supply line into the cap opening and place the tank inside the

NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit underneath the compressed air fittings.

8. Connect the other end of the pickup supply line to the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit

using the quick- connect fitting provided.
