Earth (ground) wire

WARNING

: Proper earthing (grounding) is a critical safety requirement.

When properly connected, the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit will be earthed (grounded)
resulting in safe, reliable operation.

• Location: The earth (ground) wire is located inside the unit towards the bottom on the

outlet side. A door is provided for access.

• Specifications: 10 m (33 ft) length
• Operation: Connect the earth (ground) wire to the tank or a proper earthing (grounding)

point.

• Maintenance:

• Test for continuity between the earth (ground) clamp and NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™

Delivery Unit frame.

• Test the electrical resistance. Make sure it is less than 10 Ohms.
• Check the cable. Replace it if it is damaged or frayed.

TankSafe™ product supply tank

The supply tank provides the TankSafe™ product to the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit.

• Location: The supply tank should be placed inside the unit directly underneath the

compressed air connections.

• Specifications: See SDS.
• Operation: Do not dilute or alter the TankSafe™ product in any way to avoid unsafe tank

conditions.

Primary atomization nozzle

The primary or first-stage atomization nozzle is a suction fed nozzle that uses a high-pressure air
stream to feed the NV-ST-1000 TankSafe™ Delivery Unit with the TankSafe™ product to generate
the initial TankSafe™ product aerosol.

• Location: The nozzle is mounted on the inlet side of the unit with access to the clean-out

plunger through the unit inlet screen.

• Operation: During operation, if the nozzle becomes plugged for any reason, press the clean-

out plunger to clear any debris.
