All tabs and settings are available for the Owner, including the “Permissions” tab. On

this tab, you can enable or disable the function of delimiting access rights in the program, as
well as set or change passwords for the Owner, Administrator and Operator.

Firmware update for gaming microcontrollers

The need to update the firmware of microcontrollers for gaming devices for laser tag

arena arises because of the continuous improvement of the software, both in terms of
adding new features, and in terms of correcting detected bugs.

To  determine  the  possibility  of  installing  new  firmware  on  existing  kits  and
additional  equipment,  it  is  recommended  that  you  consult  with  the  company's
technical  support  staff.  Otherwise,  there  is  a  great  risk  of  equipment  becoming

unusable.

Technical support also sends by e-mail firmware files that have the extension .lzt, which

must be saved in any directory on the computer.

The firmware is done remotely via a wi-fi channel.
For flashing microcontrollers of game kits and additional devices, the

BootLoader program is used, the current version of which can be downloaded
at:

https://lasertag.net/support/

(Section “Indoor”/ Software for Windows/

BootLoader to update the firmware). You must click on the “Download” button -
the program archive will be downloaded to the default folder. From there, it

must be unzipped to any computer directory.

Like the ARENA program, the BootLoader program does not require the installation

procedure on the computer’s hard drive to run - just run the BootLoader.exe executable file.

You must also run the ARENA program.

You must make sure that the kits and devices are correctly connected to the server

and displayed in the ARENA program. If this does not happen, check that the PC on which
the program is running is on the same network where the equipment is connected by

default.
