TASKS THAT CAN BE PERFORMED ONLY BY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS
The ROUTINE MAINTENANCE operations which must be performed by a maintenance technician are indicated below.
The instructions concerning the replacement are not given in this manual and they must therefore be explicitly requested from the machine
manufacturer, which reserves the responsibility for the replacement interventions.
METHODS AND RESULTS
Proceed to dismantle the hammer to replace the gaskets only or
the whole piston as follows:

Loosen the knob to tilt the working bench.
Remove the screws which hold the
pneumatic cylinder in place.
Remove the pneumatic cylinder and check
the level of internal wear.

Replace both piston seals.
It the hammer is worn out, proceed to replace
the whole piston.
on the left the U600 type, to the right the U5

Lubricate and reinstall the piston.
NB: align the hammer with the high part
pointing towards the magazine.
Lubricate and reinstall the cylinder.
