Main Application Window
Main Window
The main window allows to setup a test and to view test status and results.
The NetBlazer provides the following test applications.
Note: Navigation buttons appear when there is not enough room on one page to
display all available test applications. The left and right arrow buttons
allow to respectively access the previous or next window. The buttons in
between the left and right arrow buttons allow to directly select the
window for the type of test application listed.

Transport
Note: Transport test applications are only available on the FTB-880 module. Refer
to the
Transport Test Applications
user guide for more information on OTN,
SONET/SDH, and DSn/PDH tests.

Ethernet
EtherSAM : EtherSAM supports new multiservice offerings. It can
simulate all types of services that will run on the network and
simultaneously qualify all key SLA parameters for each of these
services. The EtherSAM is composed of Service Configuration test and
the Service Performance test. Refer to
EtherSAM Test Setup and Results
on page 35.
RFC 2544 : The RFC 2544 test allows performance testing as per
RFC 2544, including
Throughput
,
Back-to-Back
,
Frame Loss
, and
Latency subtests. Refer to RFC 2544 Test Setup and Results on page 73.
EtherBERT
: The Bit Error Rate Test (BERT) measures the level of
transmission impairment on a communication channel. Refer to
EtherBERT Test Setup and Results
on page 99.
