Discover Remote Button

Connect

 establishes the connection with the selected remote module. 

For connection between two NetBlazer modules, the connect also sets 
the remote module into either DTS RFC 2544 or DTS EtherSAM test 
application, depending on the 

Remote Capability

 selected. 

Connect

 is 

available when the 

Remote Capability

 is set to 

DTS RFC 2544

 or 

DTS EtherSAM

, and a remote module is selected from the list.

Note:

Even if a remote NetBlazer

 

module is in any busy status, it can still be 

overtaken by the 

Connect

 command. Following a successful connection, 

the IP address of the remote module will be used as the destination IP 
address for test applications.

Note:

Once the connection is established with the remote module, the local 
module can only perform either EtherSAM or RFC 2544 testing, depending 
on the 

Remote Capability

 

selected.

Disconnect

 ends the connection between the local and the remote 

modules. 

Disconnect

 is available when a successful DTS RFC 2544 or 

DTS EtherSAM connection is established.

Under 

Local Modules Identification

, enter a module ID if required.

Module ID

 is used to easily identify a remote NetBlazer module when 

a scan is performed. Up to 16 alpha-numeric characters are allowed.
