Discover Remote Button

Remote Capability : Select Remote Loopback , DTS EtherSAM , or
DTS RFC 2544
as remote capability. The default setting is
Remote
Loopback .
Remote Loopback
discovers the NetBlazer modules supporting the
Remote Loopback feature. Remote Loopback is only supported on
NetBlazer modules.
DTS RFC 2544 discovers the NetBlazer modules supporting the
DTS RFC 2544 application or Packet Blazer modules configured as
RFC 2544 Dual Test Set in
Remote mode. Only available when the
RFC 2544 test application is selected.
EtherSAM discovers the NetBlazer modules supporting the
DTS EtherSAM application or Packet Blazer modules configured as
EtherSAM Dual Test Set in
Remote mode. Only available when the
EtherSAM test application is selected.

Loop Up establishes the connection with the selected remote
NetBlazer module. The loop up command also sets the remote module
into
Smart Loopback test application. Loop Up is available when the
Remote Capability
is set to
Remote Loopback
and a remote
NetBlazer module is selected from the list.
Note:
Even if a remote
NetBlazer
module is in any busy status, it can still be
overtaken by the loop up command. Following a successful loop up, the IP
address of the remote module will be used as the destination IP address for
test applications.
Note:
Once the connection is established with the remote module, the local
module can be set for EtherSAM, RFC 2544, BERT, or Traffic Gen & Mon
testing. The Ping and Trace Route tests are also available.

Loop Down ends the connection between the local and the remote
modules.
Loop Down
is available when a successful loop up is
established.
