ALTERNATOR COVER
❍
Unscrew the 2 bolts (1) fixing the
small cover (2) to the hole over the
crankshaft.
❍
Remove the cover (2).
❍
Unscrew the retaining screws
from the alternator cover. The
alternator cover houses the
generator stator, the rpm and timing
sensors and the coolant pump unit.
❍
Fix puller part no.
88713.1749
to
the screw holes (1) of the small
cover removed previously.
●
Slowly turn the center pin of the
puller to detach the cover from the
alternator cover.
To change the mechanical seal or
the rotor bearings, proceed as
follows:
●
Press the rotor so to fully
compress the spring;
●
Push the spacer (3) fully home
and remove the snap ring (4);
❍
Remove the spacer (3);
❍
Undo and remove the two screws
(5) with washers and then remove
bearing underneath.
❍
Take out the rotor (6) and seal
from the outside.
❍
Remove OR-seals from stud bolts.
❍
Remove cylinder base gasket.
❍
Rimuovere gli OR dai prigionieri.
❍
Rimuovere la guarnizione base
cilindro.
COPERCHIO ALTERNATORE
❍
Svitare le 2 viti (1) che fissano il
coperchietto (2) di chiusura del foro
in corrispondenza dell’albero
motore.
❍
Rimuovere il coperchietto (2).
❍
Svitare le viti di fissaggio del
coperchio alternatore. Vincolati a
questo coperchio si trovano lo
statore del generatore, i sensori
numero di giri e fase e il gruppo
pompa acqua.
❍
Fissare l’estrattore cod.
88713.1749 nei fori delle viti (1) di
fissaggio del coperchietto
precedentemente rimosso.
●
Ruotare lentamente il perno
centrale dell’attrezzo fino ad
ottenere il distacco del coperchio
dal semicarter alternatore.
Se si deve sostituire la tenuta
meccanica o i cuscinetti di supporto
della girante utilizzare la seguente
procedura:
●
Premere la girante mandando a
pacco la molla;
●
Mandare in battuta il distanziale (3)
in modo da poter sfilare l'anello
elastico di bloccaggio (4);
❍
Sfilare anche il distanziale (3);
❍
Svitare e rimuovere le due viti (5)
con rosetta per rimuovere il
cuscinetto sottostante;
❍
Sfilare la girante (6) con anello di
tenuta dal lato esterno.
