SPESSORAZIONE SENSORE
CAMBIO
Ogni qualvolta si rimonti o si
sostituisca il sensore cambio è
necessario controllare che il valore
in uscita da questo sensore in prima
marcia rientri nei limiti impostati
nella tabella “Gear position sensor
thresholds” riportata in questa
Sezione, verificandolo nei parametri
inerenti alla prima marcia stessa.
Con i valori forniti di default nella
tabella il potenziometro deve fornire
un segnale in uscita pari a
300±50 mV .
Il valore di tensione in uscita del
sensore può essere controllato
adoperando il cavetto cod.
510.1.232.2A , inserendolo tra il
sensore ed il cablaggio della moto,
collegando i due connettori liberi ad
un tester. Con l’interruttore generale
della moto accesso il tester deve
rilevare una tensione di 300±50 mV .
Potrebbe essere necessario
cambiare lo spessore (6) tra sensore e
carter, sostituendo la rosetta
interposta, al fine di ottenere in
prima marcia il valore di tensione
desiderato.
Note
Aumentare lo spessore
significa aumentare il valore in
mV
.
SHIMMING THE GEAR
POSITION SENSOR
Every time gear position sensor is
reassembled or changed, make sure
that the output value with the first
gear engaged is within the limit
values set in table “Gear position
sensor thresholds” of this section.
Check value matches with the limits
set for the first gear.
With the default values listed in the
table, the gear position sensor must
give an output signal of 300±50
mV .
To check sensor output voltage
value, use cable part no.
510.1.232.2A , to be positioned
between sensor and main
wiring.Connect the two free
connectors to a tester. With main
switch on ON, the tester must read a
voltage value of
300±50 mV
. If shim
(6) between sensor and casing
needs replacing, replace washer to
reach the desired votage value for
the first gear.
Note
The thicker the shim, the
higher the mV .
