1) La moto non parte
Interventi:
a) Spegnere e riaccendere tramite
l’interruttore generale (lato sx. del
cruscotto): se l’ultimo spegnimento
è stato fatto tramite kill-switch
(pulsante al manubrio sx.) oppure
tramite interruttore a mercurio (ad
es. perché la moto è caduta), la
moto non si riavvierà finché ciò non
sarà stato fatto.
b) Controllare che la tensione
batteria sia di almeno 12V .
c) Avvicinando l’orecchio al
serbatoio benzina, controllare che,
appena portato l’interruttore
generale sulla posizione ON, la
pompa benzina funzioni per qualche
secondo.
d) Controllare il livello benzina nel
serbatoio.
e) Assicurarsi che il dispositivo di
avviamento trascini la ruota
posteriore ad una velocità
sufficiente per avviare il motore e
che sia innestata la 3
a
marcia.
f) Controllare lo stato delle candele
ed assicurarsi che siano
esclusivamente del modello (codice
Ducati
670.4.022.1A
) e cavi candela
671.1.011.3A sostituire in caso di
dubbio.
g) Controllare la connessione del
cablaggio corpo farfallato al
cablaggio principale.
h) Provare l’avviamento con cambio
elettrico disattivato (switch centrale
del display su OFF).
i) Controllare tramite tester che
l’interruttore a mercurio sia
normalmente chiuso e che il
pulsante di spegnimento al
manubrio sia normalmente aperto.
l) Controllare il corretto
funzionamento della frizione.
2) Il segnale sul dashboard è
disturbato
Interventi:
a ) Controllare lo stato dei cavi
candela e delle candele ed
assicurarsi che queste siano
esclusivamente del modello (codice
Ducati 670.4.022.1A ) e cavi candela
671.1.011.3A sostituire in caso di
dubbio.
1) The engine does not start
Actions:
a) Switch main switch (on LH side of
dashboard) off and back on again. If
the engine was last stopped using
the kill-switch (button on LH
handlebar) or the mercury switch
(maybe after the bike fell over), the
engine will
not
start unless you do
this.
b) Check that battery voltage is 12V
at least.
c) Place your ear close to the fuel
tank and listen for the fuel pump.
As soon as the main switch is
flipped ON, you should hear the fuel
pump running for several seconds.
d) Check fuel level in the tank.
e) Make sure the starter is driving
the rear wheel fast enough to start
the engine and that the 3
rd
gear is
engaged.
f) Check spark plugs for wear or
damage. Make sure that only
specified spark plugs (Ducati part
no. 670.4.022.1A ) and spark plug
cables part no. 671.1.011.3A are
fitted on engine. Change if in doubt.
g) Check connection between
throttle body wiring and main wiring
harness.
h) Start the bike with the electric
gear change turned off (central
switch on display on OFF).
i) Use the tester to check that the
mercury switch is normally closed
and the kill switch on the handlebar
is normally open.
l) Check clutch for proper
operation.
2) Poor dashboard signal
Actions:
a ) Check spark plugs and spark plug
cables for wear and damage.
Make sure that only specified spark
plugs (Ducati part no.
670.4.022.1A
)
and spark plug cables part no.
671.1.011.3A are fitted on engine.
Change if in doubt.
