OIL PUMP
Open the pump and check the
following:
- clearance between the gear
teeth:
service limit
0.10 mm
- radial clearance between gears
and pump body:
service limit 0.10 mm
- axial clearance between gears
and pump cover:
service limit 0.07 mm .
Check the condition of the contact
surfaces on the cover and on the
pump body. These surfaces must be
free of scoring, stepping and
grooving.
Remove the cover plug (1), slide out
the spring (2) and the by-pass
valve (3). Check the condition of
these parts.
Wash out the oilways and blow
through with compressed air.
Reassemble the pump. Fill the
pump with engine oil before
refitting it to the engine.
Cleaning the filter cartridge

Tighten the nipple onto cartridge
filter.

Loosen nipple.

Clean filter thread and remove any
possible filings that can be
originated by tightening, pay
attention that they do not fall in the
filter.

Blow compressed air inside the
filter.
●
Fit a magnet in the filter delivery
hole to remove any residues.
POMPA OLIO
Una volta aperta, procedere ai
seguenti controlli:
- gioco tra i denti degli ingranaggi:
limite di servizio
0,10 mm
- gioco radiale tra ingranaggi e
corpo pompa:
limite di servizio 0,10 mm
- gioco assiale tra ingranaggi e
coperchio:
limite di servizio
0,07 mm
.
Verificare inoltre le condizioni delle
superfici di accoppiamento sul
coperchio e sul corpo pompa: non
devono presentare solchi, scalini o
rigature.
Rimuovere dal coperchio il tappo (1),
sfilare la molla (2) e la valvola
by pass (3). Verificare le loro
condizioni.
Lavare e soffiare con aria compressa
i canali interni.
Una volta riassemblata, riempire la
pompa con olio motore prima del
rimontaggio.
Pulizia cartuccia filtro

Avvitare il nipplo sul filtro a
cartuccia.

Svitare il nipplo.
●
Pulire la zona filettata del filtro per
eliminare gli eventuali trucioli
originati dall’operazone di
avvitamento facendo attenzione a
che non cadano dentro il filtro.
❍
Soffiare aria compressa all’interno
del filtro.
●
Inserire un magnete nel foro
mandata del filtro per eliminare
trucioli eventualmente ancora
presenti.
