Installing the Various Software Programs

Install the “P2403 communication setup file” and “P2403 utility software” for PDA.

■

P2403 Utility Software Operating Environment

(Japanese version in each)

Carry out the installation using a Windows PC which supports this FOMA terminal.

For the latest information on PDAs that can be used with the FOMA terminal, check the DoCoMo web site
(http://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/).

●

Do not insert the FOMA terminal into the PDA before installing the software.

●

Installation is carried out with the PDA and Windows PC connected. Install ActiveSync (Ver. 3.0 or

higher) on the PC beforehand, and synchronize the PC and PDA.

●

When installing the software, make sure that the battery of the PC or PDA is fully charged. If the battery

is almost empty, carry out the installation with the AC power or others connected to the PC or PDA.

●

See the PDA manual for the procedure to connect a Windows PC and the PDA.
