Activating/Deactivating Voice Mail Service

Incoming Call Setting

You can activate/deactivate Voice Mail Service.

Voice Mail Service responds to incoming calls with an answer message and stores callers’

messages. You can hear the callers’ messages from anywhere in Japan. When you are using the

UIM for data communication, when you are in the place where radio waves do not reach, or when

you have the FOMA terminal turned off, and so on, this service will take messages on your behalf.

●

This FOMA terminal cannot be used to hear messages on Voice Mail Service.

Hear by inserting the UIM into a FOMA terminal that supports voice communications. See the

Network Services User’s Guide or other such information for the use of a FOMA terminal that

supports voice communications to hear Voice Mail messages.

●

When a video-phone call is received, it will not be connected to the Voice Mail Service Center even

if Voice Mail Service has been activated. It will be received as a normal video-phone call.
