About the FOMA PC Setup Software

Easy Setting

By carrying out the “FOMA

terminal, the optimization of the communication setting is necessary using the W-TCP setup.

Setting the Access Point Name (APN)

Set the access point name (APN) required for packet communication.

Unlike 64K data communication, FOMA packet communication does not use the usual phone

numbers for the access point.

and connect with it by specifying its registration number (cid)

At the time of purchase, “mopera.ne.jp”, the APN of “mopera” is registered in no. 1 of cid

other providers or LAN, you need to set the access point name (APN).

Means “Context Identifier” and is the number specified to register the access point name

(APN). Set it when registering an APN on the FOMA terminal.

You need to carry out various settings related to communication to perform packet communication or

64K data communication by connecting the FOMA terminal to a PC. The “FOMA PC setup software”

allows the followings to be easily set up. You can also set up packet communication or 64K data

communication without using the “FOMA PC setup software”. (
