AT
Commands
AT commands are the commands to set or change the functions of the FOMA terminal on the PC or
other devices.

The following abbreviations are used in the AT command list:
[M]
:
Commands which are available for P2403.
[&F]
:
Commands whose settings are initialized by the AT&F command.
[&W]
:
Commands whose settings are saved by the AT&W command. The set value can be recalled
by the ATZ command.
[?] [=?]
:
When a suffix [?] is added to an AT command, the current setting is displayed, and when a
suffix [=?] is added to an AT command, the valid range is displayed.
<Example of entry> AT+CGREG?: Displays the current setting.
AT+CGREG=?: Displays the valid range.
AT commands should be entered on the terminal mode display of the communication software. Use
half-pitch alphanumeric characters.

There are following two ways to switch from the online data mode to the online command mode on
the FOMA terminal.
• Enter the “+++” command or the code set in the “S2” register. (

• Set the ER signal of RS-232C to OFF when “AT&D1” is set. (

To switch from the online command mode to the online data mode, enter “AT0
”.

For the commands accompanied by [&W], the settings can be saved by entering “AT&W
” after
the setting. In this case, the other set values accompanied by [&W] are also saved at the same
time. These values will be restored to the saved values by “AT&W” even after the power of the
FOMA terminal is turned OFF/ON.

The terminal mode is the mode which makes the PC operate like a communication terminal.
Characters entered from the keyboard are sent to the line connected to the communication port.
