For packet communication, the charge rate depends on the amount of data sent or

received. Note that browsing web sites containing many images, or the data-intensive

communication such as downloading data results in an unexpectedly high charge rate.

●

Before using packet communication, see that the settings registered on the FOMA

terminal and the settings (cid, APN, etc.) in the “FOMA PC

During high-speed packet communication

You are charged in accordance with the amount of data sent or received, so you can enjoy data

communication without regard for the communication time. High-speed packet communication with a

maximum speed of 384 kbps for receiving and 64 kbps for sending (except for some models) is

allowed. The communication speeds vary due to the communication environment or congestion.
