The CAD250 control panel's cardboard packaging contains a printed template that allows the fixing holes to be made in the wall
and the positioning of the control panel to be checked easily. It will also prevent you from having to hold the control panel to carry
out this task.
1.
Take the template out of the cardboard box.
2.
Place the template on the wall using a level for correct orientation with regards to the floor. Fix the template to the wall using
insulating tape so that your hands are free.
The fixing template shows the main screen of the unit. Place the template so that the upper part of the screen is at an
approximate height of 1.5 metres from the floor.
3.
Using the appropriate drill bit (for holes of 6 mm, use drill bit no. 12), drill the 4 holes.
4.
Put the wall plugs in the holes, making sure they are secure.
Use the recommended wall plugs and screws, as the control panel can weigh up to 40 kg (depending on the batteries installed).
Take into account any cable or installation that can pass over, under or behind the unit.
5.
Fix the rear box to the wall using all of the holes and screws. The box permits 6 mm screws (no. 12) (do
NOT
use countersunk
screws).
Tighten the screws until they are fully inserted into the hole. Prevent the control panel from moving due to the weight of the
batteries and, therefore, the screws or wall plugs from becoming loose.
