5.10 Baby Temperature Control

In the

Baby Temperature Control

Test the

Skin Temperature Sensor

of the incubator is

suspended approximately 10 cm above the center of the mattress. In this test, the tests performed in
the

Air Temperature Control

test are performed, along with a check to ensure the temperature

measured by the Skin Temperature Sensor does not differ from the Control Temperature by more
than 0.7 °C.

When the test is first started, the user is reminded to test the skin sensor probe for accuracy as
shown in the screen of Figure 80. With an accurate skin sensor probe available, the instructions for
the

Baby Temperature Control

are then provided.

The

Baby Control Temperature

test functions in the same manner as the

Air Temperature

Control

test, with the addition of one more button in the lower left corner next to the graph. This
