5.3 Probe Test
If a
Baby Temperature Control
test or a
Skin Sensor Accuracy
Test have been selected in
an Autosequence, a
Probe Test
icon, , will appear in the upper right corner of the screen (as
shown previously in Figure 37). A
Probe Test
can be initiated at any time when this button is
visible, and the test will (can) run in the background. When first activated, the instruction screen for
the
Skin Accuracy Test
will be displayed.
The Skin Sensor must be tested for accuracy before the
Baby Temperature Control
test can be
performed. To facilitate this, the
Probe Test
is made available as soon as the Autosequence starts.
This allows the Sensor to be tested in the background, and be available when the
Baby
Temperature Control
test is ready to begin. Note that the Probe Test can be included in any
sequence, it is not limited to use with the Baby Temperature Control test.
